Adults and young people

The Museum has a regular programme of events including talks, lectures, workshops and gallery tours for adults and young people.

Young Producers

Our Young Producers programme offers young people between the ages of 18-30 who have an interest in history, science, museums or heritage interpretation. It provides a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and be involved in the co-curation of exhibits and events.

Volunteering

Volunteers work with the Museum for a variety of reasons: from developing new skills in a friendly and social environment, to getting more involved with the community, or just enjoying and sharing their passion for the Museum’s collections.

Sensing Culture Touch Tours

Sensing Culture Touch Tours Specialist handling object based collection touch tours developed for those living with sight loss. These free touch tours take place once a month across the museums, contact outreach@museums.ox.ac.uk or 01865 282456 to book.

Meet Me at the Museum

Meet Me at the Museum is a social group for older people and those living with Dementia. It enables behind-the-scenes access to the Museum, creating spaces to be socially connected and learn together. To find out more contact Beth McDougall on beth.mcdougall@prm.ox.ac.uk or 01865 282456.
